Information for applicants

​The application call for the 1st edition of the photography show at La Galerie Perkins has launched.

 

The vernissage will take place on Friday, April 30th and artists must be in attendance for the vernissage. The exposition will be open to the public during select hours until the 24th but the gallery personnel will greet visitors during this time. Artists may be there if they would like but it is not an obligation.

 

The application deadline is November 30th Applicants will be advised whether or not they were selected during the month of December. 

 

​All artwork must be at the gallery by April 26th (no artwork will be accepted after that date and no refunds will be given.)

​

A $5 fee must be paid per photography collection to apply  (a maximum of 3-5 photographs per artist can be hung in a space that is maximum 4 feet wide x 8 feet tall. The application fees are to be sent by e-transfer (on the same day as the photos) to empreintedarts@gmail.com. 

For example: If you have a photography collection of flowers, one of birds and one of houses that you wish to apply with, the total amount that you would pay is $15. You can submit up to three photos per collection for the jury's consideration. The photos presented to the jury do not need to be the same ones presented but they must be in the same collection and style.

Each photo must be framed or printed on canvas or a similar material.

The photos must be appropriate for viewing by all age groups. 

 

Following the jury’s response, a contract must be signed, and a $40 presentation fee per photo must be paid within 2 weeks after receiving the contract.

​

A 15% fee will be taken on any sales done during the show.
