An Exciting New Arts Event Has Just Been Announced
The First Annual Salon Empreinte D’Art Will be Held in a Picturesque Setting
After months of planning, we are pleased to announce The Salon Empreinte D’Art. This stunning multidisciplinary arts event be held at picturesque Parc Marie-Victorin (385, boul. Marie-Victorin, Kingsey, Falls, Quebec) from June 2nd to 4th. On June 2nd, a VIP evening (by invitation) will be held followed by general admission on the 3rd and 4th. The Salon Empreinte D’Art is a juried arts event. We are extremely pleased to have fashion designer and artist Jean-Claude Poitras as the honorary president for our first edition. He will also serve on our jury. Other members of our jury are well-known art critic Michel Bois, photographer and gallery owner Sabrina Leeder, and producer, television/radio host, disc jockey, creator, producer, and promoter Brian Sebastian. Until April 7th, the Salon Empreinte D’Art is soliciting applications from artists and galleries. We are accepting all forms of artwork including paintings, sculptures, photographs, ceramics or other materials, and one-of-a-kind jewelry. Information on how to apply can be found by visiting our website. Results will be announced mid-April.
During this art salon, the multitude of artworks will be showcased for the enjoyment of our visitors, and it will also be available for sale. The vision of the Salon Empreinte D'Art is to create a unifying event that will promote discovery and promote art in all its forms (painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, etc.) in the natural and enchanting setting of one of the most beautiful gardens in Canada. There will also be a display of cars which are also works of art. Our goal through this new artistic event is to leave a lasting impression on both members of the artistic community and the public. The event is open to everyone.
The Salon Empreinte D’Art is being organized by La Galerie Perkins of Danville, Quebec in collaboration with Parc Marie-Victorin.
