Empreinte D'Art
Mission
Established as an OBNL in September of 2024, the mission for Empreinte D’Art is to create a tourist destination within the province of Quebec that people from near and far can visit at no cost. It will allow them to enjoy the natural beauty of the countryside and to learn about the plants in the garden, all the while creating memories. Artistic activities can take place within the garden as can social and cultural ones such as picnics, plant exchanges, concerts and conferences.
Vision
Empreinte D’Art will also hold the annual Salon Empreinte D’Art which was started in 2023 to create a memorable event that brings together members of the arts community in a beautiful environment so that they can share their works with the general public, which teaching them about the art that they do and the themes within them. The vision of The Salon Empreinte D’Art is to create a weekend that is filled with the creation of memories and the enjoyment of art in its various forms including sculptures, paintings, fashion as well as nature’s own artistic touches. We want the event to leave a lasting print on all its participants thus its name.
Empreinte D’Art will also be responsible for all other activities in the garden such as a tree lighting ceremony that will help children annually each year in December.
The main objectives of Empreinte D’Art are to:

Promote tourism by growing the garden into a tourist destination both through its events and individual visits

Look after the annual Salon Empreinte D’Art

Look after the annual Christmas tree lighting

Foster education for youth

Build lasting relationships of collaboration and partnership with other organizations within our region and throughout the province

Teach people about nature and art, including indigenous and medicinal plants

Raise awareness of art and culture in all its form and increase interest and knowledge in the field.
